“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon [money, possessions, fame, status, or whatever is valued more than the Lord].(Matthew 6:24 – Amplified Bible)
Still on the fence? It is time to make a choice. Time is short.
For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay.(Hebrews 10:37 NLT)
Warnings and signs of His coming are prevalent (Reference Matthew 24).
“So fear the LORD and serve him wholeheartedly. Put away forever the idols your ancestors worshiped when they lived beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt. Serve the LORD alone. But if you refuse to serve the LORD, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the LORD.”(Joshua 24:14-15 NLT)
…choose TODAY whom you will serve!
For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.(2 Corinthians 6:2 NLT)
I choose Jesus. What do I need to do?
Making the choice is the first step!
Next, turn away from whatever it was that you were serving. Humble yourself. Talk to God the Father. Talk from your heart. Be honest. Ask Him for forgiveness. Do NOT go back to your old ways. Continue to seek God. (See 2 Chronicles 7:14) Learn more about Him by praying often. Talk to Him all throughout your days. Read your Bible. Study your Bible. Reach out to other Christian Believers. Ask for help. (You can reach out to Vision 61 by clicking HERE)
Be humble. Be sincere. God will forgive. God will help you.
Create in me a pure heart, God, and make my spirit right again.(Psalm 51:10 NCV)
