Faith Like a Child

“I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and He heard me out of His holy hill.” (Psalm 3:4)

My 6-year-old had gotten into a predicament [she was okay, but she needed a little help]. She was on the other side of the house. She yelled for me to help her.

I couldn’t hear her.

Her dad couldn’t hear her.

But her heavenly Father could.

She prayed that He would send me to her.

I ‘got a feeling’ I needed to go check on her. When I found her she was crying because she had wanted me and I didn’t hear her. But she let me know that she had prayed and God told me to go to her. God answered her prayer.

She had faith. And this incident increased her faith. And this incident increased my faith.

Your Heavenly Father wants you to know that He hears you when you need something. He hears you when you ask for help. He can nudge the hearts of people for you. He can change circumstances. Ask Him. He will prove Himself to you. Let Him increase your faith.
